Kitchener-Waterloo Symphony
Internationally acclaimed, the KWS is the cultural centrepiece of the Waterloo Region and performs more than 100 concerts every season. Led by Music Director Edwin Outwater, one of North America's most creative, dynamic, and engaging conductors, the orchestra is known for its innovative programming (particularly the Intersections series), high quality of performance, and dedication to the Kitchener-Waterloo community.

HopeSpring Holiday Tour of Homes
The popular tour of homes is back!
The 9th Annual Holiday Tour of Homes. This year five private homes and the HopeSpring Cancer Support Centre will be decorated for the holidays in style. The homes are decorated professionally by some of the best decorators and florists in the area, who donate their time, energy and skills to make this event one that sells out every year. All proceeds go to the HopeSpring Cancer Support Centre.

Chinese New Years Celebration
For 5 days get ready to celebrate the Chinese New Year (Kitchener Style) with free entertainment, films, traditional dancing and music, calligraphy and origami, taoist tai chi, chinese cooking and double dragon kung fu demonstrations, face painting and crafts at the Kitcheners Market Chinese New Year Celebrations - Downtown Kitchener Calendar of Events.

We Day
We Day is a day-long event that ignites a year-long program for change, called We Schools in Action. The event brings inspirational speeches (Al Gore, Former U.S. Vice-President, Nobel Laureate; President Ellen Johnson Sirleaf of Liberia, Africa's first elected female president; Reverend Jesse L. Jackson Sr., Civil rights leader; and Craig & Marc Kielburger, Co-Founders of Free The Children) and performances to young leaders. Students then bring that energy home to take action on local and international issues all year long, which will be taking place in the Kitchener Memorial Auditorium Complex.
Ticket Price: Free of charge to any school that wants to be part of the experience
